Eight things,

How buying works

Over the counter, in a paper bag, that is it

There is no basket on this page and there will not be one. Everything is on the shelf behind the till at 41 Chester Street and you can pick it up whether or not you are having a cut — walk in, point at it, pay, leave. If a tin has gone, it comes back on the Thursday delivery.

We will not post anything. A £12 tin does not survive £4.95 of postage and a weekend in a van, and we would rather you came in and let us tell you that you have bought the wrong one for your hair.

Anything bought here can be brought back open, used, any time, if it does not suit you. Scissors we sold you are sharpened free for as long as you own them — leave them on a Tuesday before nine, collect them Wednesday.

Pick it up while you are in the chair
